Byske Havsbad swimming pool is approx. 30 km north of Skellefteå, approx. 2 km from the centre of Byske and right next to the River Byskeälven, replete with salmon. Reach us via the E4.

The reception is unstaffed during winter
The reception in Byske will be unstaffed from October 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025. During this period, all communication will be handled via Skellefteå Camping. The motorhome pitches are open and can be booked online or via phone/email. The cabins are only available for group bookings. There are also bookable camping pitches near service building 1. For more information, please contact us.

Accessible
There are accessible WCs in all the service buildings. The site is flat and has asphalted paths. Some of the cabins are hypoallergenic and accessible.
Service building 1
Centrally located. Male and female facilities with WCs, showers, haircare area, children’s room for the little ones, family room/RWC, washing machines and dryers, kitchen plus assembly room and play corner. Terrace with patio furniture.
Service building 2
On the eastern side of the campsite. Family room with WC and shower, accessible WC with baby-changing facilities, pump-out facility, WCs, makeup room and kitchen area.
Service building 3
On the north side of the campsite. Male and female facilities with WCs and showers, accessible WC, pump-out facility and a small kitchen. Building with extra WCs and basins plus an accessible WC. Mowers are available to borrow at our two Collection points by service building 1 and the car wash.
Service building 4
In the western part of the site. Male and female facilities with WCs, baby-changing facilities, etc. Shower facilities/family room with WC and shower, pump-out facility, washing-up point, accessible WC.
Toilet block
Extra WCs and basins plus an accessible WC.
Service building/tent area 2. WCs and a washing-up point.
Tallen cabins
There are washing-up points and a place to collect water outside the cottages.
Service building/outdoor pool
2 family rooms with WC and RWC facing the campsite. Male and female facilities with shower, WC, changing room and sauna. Communal relaxation suite. Accessible during the day from the outdoor pool and evenings from the campsite.
A dog shower with dog-grooming room is available at the end of the reception building
SCRs rules and regulations apply. These can be found on the information board at reception. Our staff have the right to ask guests who fail to observe the rules and regulations to leave the site.
Entry and exit for Caravans
The caravan pitches are only intended for checked-in guests. Any visitors should park in the visitors’ car park off site. Vehicle traffic is only permitted at walking pace when entering and leaving the site. Mopeds should be wheeled, not driven, on the campsite grounds.
Parking of caravans
You can only park your caravan on the allocated pitch. For fire and safety reasons, there must be a distance of at least 2 m between the unit and the pitch boundaries, and at least 4 m to the next unit. We reserve the right to move your unit if these instructions are ignored. Each pitch is for 1 caravan + 1 car, other vehicles should be parked in the visitors’ car park off site. The roads around the campsite must be kept clear at all times to allow passage for emergency vehicles. The caravan tow bar must be facing the road.
Quiet time
Campsite quiet hours are between 23.00 and 08.00. Vehicle traffic is also banned on the site at this time.
Charging of electric cars
It is prohibited to charge electric cars in the camping area.
Therefore, we kindly ask those who have electric cars to charge them at the actual charging station outside the reception. If this is not respected, the person responsible for the booking will be charged 3000 SEK per day.
Fire extinguisher
Fire extinguisher are located at all service buildings, Mat-Ekan, the reception, and throughout the camping area. See the map.
Medical care
First aid kits are available at the Rentals, Café Byscaya, the heated outdoor pool and the reception. A defibrillator is available at the reception.
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in all our cabins/rooms/service buildings. If smoking has occured guest will be charged a fee from 4000 SEK. Smoking is also prohibited to public places such as entrances, playgrounds, café and the outdoor swimming pool.
Animals
Dogs and other animals must be kept on a leash and not left unattended. They should be walked outside the camping area, and for everyone's comfort, please pick up after your dog.
Dogs are not allowed on the public beach or in the pool area. There is a dog beach on the south side of the stone pier at the mouth of the Byske River, marked with "Hundbadstrand" (Dog Beach). A dog shower is available at the end of Service Building 6. Please clean up after your pet to prevent the spread of any potential diseases.
Out of consideration for those with allergies, we ask you to keep pets out of the reception and service buildings. Dog parking is available at Service Buildings 1 and 3, the reception, Café Byscaya and MatEkan.
Barbecues
Barbecuing with firewood is allowed at designated barbeque areas on the beach. If you wish to use our other barbeque areas, only charcoal is permitted. Charcoal bins are placed at the recycling stations; ensure no embers are left due to the fire risk.
Disposable grills are prohibited in the camping area.
Barbeques are available for rent at the reception.
Gas/charcoal barbeques standing on legs are permitted on camping/tent sites.
If you are staying in a cabin, ensure the barbeques is placed on asphalt and not on the porch. Also, keep doors and windows closed while barbecuing to avoid smoke entering the cabin. Be aware if Skellefteå Municipality/Rescue Service has issued a fire ban.
Night-time Security Guard
In the high season there is a night-time security guard on duty from 22:00-08:00. If you need to contact the security guard after the reception has closed, please call +46 (0)10-222 28 82.
In case of an urgent need for assistance with your accommodation during the off-season, you can reach us at phone number 0910 – 108 03. Your call will be directed to SOS Alarm.
In case of emergency
In case of an emergency, contact the ambulance, police, or fire department through SOS Alarm at phone number: 112.
Recycling station
Recycling stations are located close to Service Building 1, near our beach villas, and at the Z campsites. Special containers are available for cardboard, colored and clear glass, garden waste, newspapers, batteries, and charcoal.
Bulky waste
Bulky waste such as furniture, garden tools, toys, barbecues, etc. must not be left on the campsite. It is referred to the recycling center located on the south side of the river.
Emptying waste tanks
Black water dump station is located next to camping area Z.
Toilet cassette dump station is available in service buildings 2, 3, and 4.
Car wash
Car washing is not permitted inside the camping area. Dirty water from washing cars, motorhomes and caravans contains impurities such as metals, oil residues, chemicals and is harmful to people and the environment.
Drone
Within the camping area, it is not allowed to fly drones as it can be considered disruptive and offensive.
Fireworks
Firecrackers/fireworks are prohibited within the camping area.

Our reception is also an authorised tourist office providing information on activities, accommodation, etc.

The card offers a range of discounts and special offers in Sweden and Europe and even includes an accident insurance for the whole family. Booking rules
Cancellation insurance
Through purchasing a cancellation insurance for 350 SEK the registration fee and the final payment will be refunded if the following occur:
- Death, illness or a serious accident have occurred to you, your spouse/partner, you/your partners parents, children, siblings or co-travlers.
- Another serious incident occur that is beyond your control, which you could not have foreseen when you made your reservation, resulting in it being unreasonable to require that you should abide to your reservation e.g. compromising fire or flooding to your home.
- If you are summoned to the army or civil defense.
- If you due to unemployment or a new employment are unable to proceed with your reservation.
You will have to confirm your impediment by providing us with documents, for example a medical certificate, authority certificate or proof an insurance claim. The document shall be forwarded to us within 14 days from the reservation date. Only then the rental amount will be refunded. The cancellation insurance also gives your the right to cancel an ongoing stay and to recover the amounts corresponding to the part of the lenght of stay you have not been able to use if any of the above points occur.
What if I want to cancel?
If you cancel your reservation you will not be reimbursed for the service fee, the registration fee or final payment. However, if you have purchased a cancellation insurance you will be fully reimbursed, excluding the insurance fee and service fee, according to the special conditions that apply (see point above). No refund will be done if you choose to interrupt your stay earlier than planned.
Other
By booking you allow us to send you newsletters by e-mail and you get the opportunity to participate in our guest survey via e-mail until you have unsubscribed to these.
Service fee
For all reservations via telephone or email a service fee of 135 SEK will be charged. If you book online or drop-in bookings the same day, no fee will be applied.
Internet
We offer complimentary Wi-Fi. All you need is a computer, tablet or smart phone set up for Wi-Fi. Log on with your email address and name.
Debit and credit cards
You are more than welcome to pay by debit and credit cards at the camping reception, all shops, cafés and the restaurant.
Cash
We only accept cash during summer in Swedish currency, SEK at the Rentals, Café Byscaya and the shop in the reception building.
Post
There is a yellow postbox at reception, emptied every day at 10:00. Long-stay guests can collect their post and papers from the box labelled ”Gästers post”.
