The education is conducted in English.

This course is aimed at those who want to gain an understanding of simple corrective maintenance.
The course provides basic knowledge to understand and work with maintenance. It is suitable for those who are new to the field and want to build a foundation.

During the course you will learn basic maintenance skills. This includes your safety, planning, working together, following instructions and drawings, and documenting.

You will gain practical experience of torque pulling, internal and external threading, lubrication and alignment.

The training starts on condition that the necessary decisions are made.

Eligibility

  • You are eligible for adult education from July 1 of the year you turn 20. If you have a final certificate, an upper secondary school diploma or a study certificate from upper secondary school from the Swedish school system, you are eligible even if you are younger than 20.
  • Prerequisites to benefit from studies at upper secondary level. For this, you need to have English language skills equivalent to English 5.
  • If you do not have grades at the corresponding level specified in the eligibility criteria, it is possible to prove your knowledge through a level test, read more at Level assessment and follow the instructions

Structure of the course

The course is conducted in English and the training material is in English.
The training includes theoretical and practical elements. The practical elements often take place in small groups and your schedule may change at short notice. You need to be available for on-site studies during the day.

Duration of studies

  • The program is full-time and consists of 100 credits at secondary level.
  • The course starts on May 19, 2025 and ends on June 20, 2025
  • The program can be financed with student finance from CSN.

Own costs in the training

You will need access to your own computer for self-study.

Admission process
