Different types of forklifts are used today in a variety of workplaces. To operate a forklift at a workplace, you need documented practical and theoretical knowledge as well as an approval from your employer.
During the course Industrial internal transports, you will gain theoretical knowledge and opportunity to practice the use of different forklifts. This gives you the chance to develop your ability to drive forklifts in a safe and efficient way.
In the course, you have the opportunity to take the theoretical and practical tests required for forklifts A1-A4 and B1 to B3.
Due to the content of the course, we have a limited the number training slots available.
The course will start on the condition that the necessary decisions are made.

Eligibility
- You are eligible for adult education from July 1 of the year you turn 20. If you have a final certificate, an upper secondary school diploma or a study certificate from upper secondary school from the Swedish school system, you are eligible even if you are younger than 20.
- Prerequisites to benefit from studies at upper secondary level. For this, you need to have English language skills equivalent to English 5 or Swedish or Swedish as a Second Language equivalent to primary education level.
- If you do not have grades at the corresponding level specified in the eligibility criteria, it is possible to prove your knowledge through a level test, read more at Level assessment and follow the instructions.
Structure of the course
The course is conducted in English or Swedish. Tutoring is available in English and Swedish. Theoretical material is available in English or Swedish.
At the start of the course, we will have an introduction lecture. You can participate on site on Campus Skellefteå or online over Teams. Self-studies is a part of the education and is conducted during the first week.
The practical parts start week two of the course. It is conducted at Hammarängen in Skellefteå. During the study period you will have the practical parts at Hammarängen in Skellefteå. You need to be able to study at site 08.00-15:00 Monday to Friday (you will not have a formal schedule).
Duration of studies
- The course is part time and consists of 50 credits at upper secondary level.
- The course starts 2025-09-15 and ends 2025-10-03.
- Please observe! The course can be financed with study grants and loans from CSN, part time level 75 percent, if you meet the other conditions for student grants and loans from CSN.
Own costs in the training
At the start of the education, you will pay SEK 3200 for access to the equipment and licenses needed for the training.
You will need access to your own computer for self-studies.
