Paying for parking

Skellefteå Municipality has 2,200 parking spaces in the town centre, 600 of which are in parking garages. There are several ways to pay for parking in municipal parking spaces in Skellefteå.

From March 1, 2024, there are two different parking apps that apply to municipal parking, ePark and Parkster. They are easy to download and get started with. Read more below.

Please note that the municipality's own app Skepark will be discontinued for short-term parking from March 1.

ePark

Once you have downloaded the app and registered an account, you can pay directly from your phone using your payment card or by invoice. Download the app here:

If pay and display machines are out of order

If a pay and display machine is out of order, walk to the nearest alternative machine to buy a ticket, or pay using your mobile phone. Check that the other pay and display machine is valid for the same zone as the one you are parked in. You cannot park free of charge because a pay an display machine is out of order.
