SkeLitt 2024

The City Library's own literature festival will return in the fall of 2024. We offer author talks, lectures, book tables and a lot more. Free admission.

Skellefteå and its surroundings have a long tradition of both written and oral storytelling and many are the authors who have sprung from this mire. We at the city library want to celebrate this with our own literature festival. We will be inviting writers and speakers, some from further afield, others more local, but most with some connection to the region. Some are fairly well known, others unknown. All to show the breadth of literature and the great importance of storytelling for both residents and visitors.

Would you like to set up a book table during the festival?
During the festival, we offer publishers, companies and organizations to book a book table.

We prioritize literary activities, or activities with a clear connection to literature.
