Renholmen Cultural Trail
From the old quay at Renholmen you look out over the river mouth, which once housed steamers and sailing boats with sailors from all corners of the world.
You follow the signs and walk up to the place where the company office once stood.
Length: 1.3 kilometres
Route: circular trail starting at Renholmen's landing stage (old quay)
Start: You start the hike at Renholmen's shelter, located 15 km northeast of Byske. The site is located east of Renholmen village at the outlet of the Åby River.
Description: You walk along forest paths and an old track in slightly hilly terrain.
Good to know: At the start there is a shelter and outdoor shelter, benches and tables.
Points of interest: along the trail you will find local history,
events and places described on information boards.
