Risböle fäbodstig

Between Uttersjöbäcken and Nedre Bäck we find the villages of Risböle and Bäckån. In the latter begins the Fäbodstigen path that takes us through the forest to the sea and finally to Risböle fäbodstuga.

Length: 9 kilometers.
Route: Bäckån - Risböle fäbodstuga, Storön.
Start: In the village of Bäckån between Uttersjöbäcken and nedre Bäck.

Description: The nine kilometer long trail goes through forest land, by the sea and along the shore of Bäckfjärden. The trail ends at Risböle mountain hut.

Good to know: After half the distance there is a shelter and opportunities for swimming at the extensive sandy beach Storsand.

Attractions: The only remaining and renovated shepherd's hut with information about shepherd's life at the end of the trail.
