Central housing is emerging
Skebo has built 40 rental flats in Bureå. The homes were completed in 2024.
The flats have been built on two former woodland sites. One borders Hemvägen to the east and Bondevägen to the west. The other area borders Hemvägen to the west and Norra Kustvägen to the east.
There are five two-storey buildings with wooden access balconies, comprising one-, two-, and three-bedroom flats. All flats have a balcony and access to a storage room. Outside, there are green spaces featuring plants that attract bees and promote pollination, along with seating areas and planting boxes.

Backen
Väster om Nyckelgatan kan ett nytt bostadsområde som utgår från barnens perspektiv växa fram. Här finns utrymme för omkring 600 bostäder, med liv mellan husen och plats för både lek, samvaro och närhet till naturen. Infrastrukturen planeras att stå klar under 2026.

Ett nytt bostadsområde växer fram i kvarteret Sörbyn, Kåge, med 168 hyresrätter. Bygget sker i två etapper där etapp 1 förväntas vara klart tidigast sommaren 2026.

Södertorg ska utveklas till en lockande mötesplats för boende och besökare på södra sidan av Skellefteälven. Torget blir en del av en växande stadsdel där både parken och bostäder planeras.
