155 rental apartments near Mullberget
The Lejongapet neighbourhood has been expanded with three buildings of 4–7 storeys. Footpaths and cycle paths have been built to make it safe and easy to get around without a car. The apartments were completed in 2024.
The apartment buildings are being built on Getbergsvägen and Humlegatan with Torsgatan to the north. There will be three houses with occupancy in three different stages. The size of the apartments will be 1-4 rooms, mostly two-room apartments of 45-55 square meters. All apartments will have a balcony. The houses will be built on a gravel area where there was previously a school. The neighborhood is located near Mullberget, which is a popular outdoor area to visit.
A pedestrian and bicycle path has already been built to make it safer for pedestrians and cyclists and to reduce car use in the area.

Väster om Nyckelgatan kan ett nytt bostadsområde som utgår från barnens perspektiv växa fram. Här finns utrymme för omkring 600 framtida bostäder, med liv mellan husen och plats för både lek, samvaro och närhet till naturen. Infrastrukturen planeras att stå klar under 2026.

Sörbyn
Ett nytt bostadsområde växer fram i kvarteret Sörbyn, Kåge, med 168 hyresrätter. Området färdigställs hösten 2026. Bostäderna kommer inte att öppnas upp för uthyrning förrän efterfrågan bedöms som tillräcklig.

Södertorg ska utvecklas till en lockande mötesplats för boende och besökare på södra sidan av Skellefteälven. Torget blir en del av en växande stadsdel där både parken och bostäder planeras.
