Information Days
Get help with your questions from authorities and the municipality at the Arbetsförmedlingen premises. On site are administrators from the Arbetsförmedlingen, the Swedish Migration Board, the Swedish Tax Agency, the State Service Center and Skellefteå Municipality Customer Service.
When: Monday 7 April – Thursday 10 April, 10:00-16:00
Where: Arbetsförmedlingen, Kanalgatan 52, Skellefteå.
As a former employee of Northvolt, you are now facing an uncertain and challenging situation. To provide a comprehensive overview of the support available, Skellefteå Municipality invites you to an information event that will be open over four days.
Throughout these days, authorities, trade unions, and other community organizations will be present to offer support related to job seeking, career transition, education, financial matters, and legal rights. There will also be opportunities to ask questions and receive contact information for further guidance.
A list of participating organizations and the types of support they offer is attached to this email.
The aim is to provide relevant information, guidance for your next steps, and an overview of the resources available locally, regionally, and nationally.

Statens servicecenter
Guidance and assistance with contacts to government agencies such as the Social Insurance Agency, Public Employment Service Center, Migration Agency, Tax Agency, and Pensions Agency. Help with e-identification and forms.

Information about job opportunities, training programs, support with job searching, and employment subsidies. Assistance with registration and career guidance.
Skatteverket
Information on population registration, tax regulations when your income changes, and other personal financial issues linked to your employment status.
Trygghetsrådet
Support for privately employed white-collar workers who have been made redundant. Offers help with job searching career transition, counseling, and possible financial compensation.
Trygghetsfonden
Career transition support for workers employed in companies covered by the collective agreement between the Swedish Trade Union Confederation (LO) and the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise.
