The performance becomes a dancing and psychological machinery that is sometimes driven by the individual's longing, sometimes by the rules of the social collective.

Sara kulturhus and Norrlandsoperan invite you to an unforgettable experience with the opera Pride and Prejudice. With music by Daniel Nelson and libretto by Sofia Fredén, this performance takes us on a musical journey into the romantic world of Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy.

Norrlandsoper's symphony orchestra, under the direction of conductor David Björkman, gives life to the music that drives the performance forward in a dancing and psychological journey through the individual's longing and the rules of the social collective.

Directed by Clara Svärd and with scenography and costumes by Marika Feinsilber, this performance will be a visual and musical feast. Lighting designer Anna Wemmert sets the mood on stage and together with the ten vocal soloists, they create a performance that is full of intrigue and genuine emotions.

Anders Lundström portrays Mr. Bennet and Susanna Levonen plays Mrs. Bennet, while Ingrid Berg takes on the role of Lydia and Amie Foon portrays Charlotte. The show is an experience you won't soon forget, and a must for anyone who loves opera and classic love stories.
