The band "Live" will pay tribute to Etta James with the singer Ann-Sofie Lindegren this afternoon.
Soul, blues and a little Rock & Roll

Etta James was an American singer (1938 – 2012). She mainly sang blues and rhythm and blues.

James broke through in 1955 with the single The Wallflower, after being discovered by Johnny Otis. In 1960 she signed to Chess Records and released a string of hit songs. She was perhaps best known for the hit "At Last" from 1961.

Etta James was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993 and the Blues Hall of Fame in 2001. She was awarded the 2003 Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
