A concert where musical joy, energy, commitment, and an amazing repertoire take center stage. Additionally, the children's rights organization Erikshjälpen is part of this tour, as Joel wants these concerts to also make a meaningful impact for vulnerable children and their families!
About Joel Nunez:
Joel Nunez is a Cuban/American singer discovered on a cruise ship by a Swedish artist agency. He moved to Sweden and was named Norrland's most booked entertainer by Megafonen magazine from 2014 to 2019 (with a total of 850 performances in Sweden during that time)!
After a few years in his homeland, Joel and his family returned to Sweden in 2021, and since then, he has toured extensively as a solo artist. He has also toured and performed with Doug Seegers, Chris Kläfford, Shirley Clamp, and Sonja Aldén. He recently won, together with Cecilia Kallin, the county final for Norrbotten in the music competition P4 nästa with the song "Wait for me," a powerful song with great potential to advance to the national final in August.
About Elvis, Orbison & I:
In this concert, Joel, along with his talented musicians, will present the greatest hits from the 50s, mixed with his own material. There will be a lot from Elvis's fantastic repertoire and beloved classics from Roy Orbison. Joel intersperses the music with short stories from his own life, encompassing joy, sorrow, and laughter. It will be a powerful concert in the spirit of the 50s!
We hope you want to come and enjoy the best of the 50s and 60s!
The concert is organized by the educational association Sensus in collaboration with Erikshjälpen and Northevent.
