The museum is open for three days this summer, and some guests will be telling stories or playing music.

The museum is open on Sunday, June 30 from 13:00 to 16:00. At 2 p.m., Rolf Granstrand, a well-known local historian, talks about fishing on the Skelleftekusten coast in ancient times. Free entrance.

Wednesday 17 July at 18.30 is Visväll with well-known Hasse Alatalo and Fred Lane. The museum is open from 5 pm. Entrance SEK 100, coffee included.

Saturday, August 24, the museum opens at 1 p.m.
At 2 p.m. Giant pikes and Laughing Borers, a storytelling performance with Per Gustavsson, a leading figure in the Swedish storytelling movement and initiator of the Ljungby storytelling festival, which is the country's oldest festival for oral storytelling.

It is signposted from Skelleftehamnsvägen in Furunäs (where you turn towards the go-kart track)
