About Open Stage
Open stage is a bet for those who want to join in and take a seat on culture's various public stages and rooms. We want to support new and forward-looking cultural practitioners, regardless of age, because we believe that it is by testing, practicing and daring that one can get further in their creation. Something that both the artist and those around him get pleasure from! Therefore, within the concept "It starts here" we offer stages and rooms for you to do your thing in. The goal is to open up and maybe connect old with new cultural actors, for an even more exciting and long-term sustainable cultural life in Skellefteå.

Twice a year, in connection with the Easter and autumn holidays, we open the Kulturtrappan for those who want to come and do their thing.

Kulturtrappan
In Kulturtrappan, each act is given up to 10 minutes (limited preparation time) so that as many as possible have the chance to take a seat. Available technology is microphone and connection to existing sound system via computer/phone or e.g. electric piano/electric guitar.
If there is time left in the program, the opportunity for spontaneous contributions is given on the spot.
