Same - Different

Workshop for you between the ages of 12 and 21

Today's workshop, Same - Different, are two parallel workshops where you get to meet the silversmith Åsa Rehnström as well as the artist
Karin Nordgren.

Language: The workshop is in Swedish

Åsa Rehnström - Based on the poem, we examine how different and how similar we are. We do this through self-portraits. We will use both paper and aluminum wire ending in a joint sculpture with our portraits together. Perhaps the portraits will form a common work of art with other workshops that also have the starting point from the poem...

Karin Nordgren - We will weave by hand picture weavers with rugs. We start with one's own imagination and favorite colors. As inspiration, pictures of different works of art by artists who have thought a lot about how important colors can be and how the different colors create patterns will be shown. You can think that the colors and the pattern then become the work of art itself. It fits very well to weave a picture. Then we put together each one's image fabric into a large work of art.
