AT THE ARK AT 8 is a humorous, musical and philosophical play written based on the classic story of Noah's ark.
The three penguins are always together. They mess around with each other a bit and they fight a bit, like penguins do when nothing else is going on. One of them gets angry and walks away for a while. On normal days, that's all that happens. But today a pigeon comes flying with a message.
The deluge is coming - in fact, it has already started raining. Two animals of each kind have tickets to Noah's Ark. What will the penguins do then? There are three of them and no one wants to leave a friend behind. Can they all get on board without anyone finding out? And in that case, how do you keep a whole penguin secret on board a boat?
