Mellopepp with Skellefteå Musikkår and Sonja Aldén

Skellefteå Musikkår, together with Sonja Aldén and the EFS choir from Boliden, presents a packed concert featuring Melodifestivalen hits and other unforgettable classics. Join us at Sara Kulturhus to gear up for the first heat of this year’s Melodifestivalen!
 
The audience can look forward to a musical journey through the eras of Melodifestivalen, with a special focus on the time when live orchestras played a central role.

Providing the grand music and timeless classics is Skellefteå Musikkår, renowned for their exceptional diversity and range. This "locally produced" orchestra will delight with favorites from Melodifestivalen’s various eras, all under the baton of the legendary conductor Ulla Lundqvist—an icon in Skellefteå’s music scene.

The beloved singer-songwriter Sonja Aldén will grace the stage, performing some of her most cherished songs, including highlights from her Melodifestivalen journey. With the hit “För att du finns,” Sonja captured Swedish hearts in 2007, and her debut album “Till Dig” went gold. With five albums and countless tours, she remains one of Sweden's most celebrated artists.

Joining Sonja Aldén for the evening is the EFS Boliden Choir, featuring around 40 singers. The choir recently performed during the celebration of Boliden’s 100th anniversary in Stockholm. This February, the festivities continue at Sara Kulturhus, where they will pay tribute to the golden years of Melodifestivalen.

Wardrobe: is mandatory for bag and jacket. The cloakroom is located adjacent to the stage for the event and the fee is included in your ticket.
Admission: approx. 30 minutes before the event starts.
Eating: Food and drink are not allowed to be brought into our stages.

Walker: placed outside the entrance, staff on site are available if you need help.
Lift: located at stairwell B, left side.
Wheelchair spaces: All wheelchair spaces are accessible via lift, stairwell B, left side. Due to evacuation regulations, a wheelchair ticket must be presented by a wheelchair user for entry to events in Stage 1 or Stage 2.
