Digital Author Talk - Rachel Cusk
During the spring of 2025, you will be able to take part in current and important writing via digital viewing afterwards at Jörn's library. Today, the author is Rachel Cusk.
At Jörn's Library, you can see ten authors divided into six author talks shown on our projector screen during the spring of 2025, via Library Play, which is a streaming service from Stockholm City Library.
The author talks are recorded from Malmö City Library and today you get to meet the Palestinian-American poet author Rachel Cusk in conversation with Mats Almegård.
The conversation will be held in English.
With "Konturer", "Transit" and "Kudos", Rachel Cusk has become one of the most influential voices in contemporary literature. A trilogy of novels in which she has turned listening into storytelling. Now she is up to date with her sixth book in Swedish translation, "Parad" (translated by Niclas Hval). Here, Cusk examines how a story can be told and how our lives are shaped by the stories we create about ourselves.
