JoRoJo trio with Elin Belani
A concert in two parts with the group JoRoJo trio and Elin Belani JoRoJo = Johan, Robin, Jonas
JoRoJo Trio is a newly formed group consisting of
Johan Strömberg – drums,
Robin Jonsson – double bass
Jonas Gustafsson Nolander – guitar.
With backgrounds in different genres and contexts, they have found each other in music since moving to the city from different places. Together they offer a varied repertoire with everything from well-known standards to newer songs by composers such as Keith Jarrett, Julian Lage, Joshua Redman and Lars Jansson.
In the second part of the concert, the trio is joined by the singer Elin Belani, and then the focus shifts more to Swedish jazz and interpretations by Nino Ramsby, Barbro Hörberg and Lisa Nilsson.
