About Lucia:
The Lucia celebration is a tradition in Sweden that takes place on December 13th to honor Saint Lucia. During the celebration, Lucia wears a crown of candles on her head and leads a procession of children or youths dressed in white. They sing Lucia songs and spread light in the dark winter night. It symbolizes the return of light during the long winter and is a festive tradition to foster community and spread Christmas joy.
