A romantic comedy on home soil. Passion and violence collide in this gripping performance of love - both for each other and for our beloved sport; ice hockey.
A romantic comedy on home soil.
Early mornings in an ice rink – perhaps not the best conditions for a budding romance, but it is right here, in the stands, that this romantic comedy takes place.
Björn and Frida are two fairly lonely single parents. But during the children's hockey practice, they meet and fall in love. Björn turns out to be extremely competitive and thinks you play to win. Frida is most happy that her son is having fun. In the ice rink, the sport brings out the absolute worst and absolute best in both of them. Passion and violence collide in this gripping performance of love - both for each other and for our beloved sport; ice hockey.
Hockey Mom, Hockey Dad is written by Canadian playwright, screenwriter, and director Michael Melski. The play was named "Top Ten Plays of The Year" in Canada and has been performed extensively in both Canada and the USA.
