Pippi theme at Jörn's library during Sports Break.

This year Pippi Longstocking turns 80 and we want to celebrate at Jörn's library during the sports week.

Pippi Longstocking, Pippilotta Viktualia Roller Blinds Mint Efraim's Daughter Longstocking is the strongest in the world, has freckles and red braids that stand out, speaks against adults and is generally ill-mannered. She lives without parents in a house called Villa Villekulla together with her spotted horse Little Old Man and her monkey Mr. Nilsson.

Pippi is a literary character by Astrid Lindgren who first appeared in the book of the same name from 1945. Pippi was created in 1941 and is one of Astrid Lindgren's most famous characters. The Pippi books have been translated into many different languages.

Throughout the sports break (Monday 3/3, Wednesday 5/3, Saturday 8/3 and during Meröppet*)there will be a tip round, Pippi crafts, prick the right one - Mr. Nilsson's tail & find the Pippi figures in the library. On Women's Day, Saturday 8/3, we will also celebrate Pippi in an extra special way with both cake and several program items.
