PreDP International Baccalaureate - IB
Interested in High School Education in English? Then this is the program for you. You will be part of an international atmosphere in Skellefteå and will be able to tailor your studies according to your interest.
This is the Programme for you if:

This Programme will give you thorough knowledge about the English language since all subjects are taught in English. It will also provide you with thorough knowledge in mathematics as well as sciences and individuals and societies.
During the first year you will have classes that are a mixture between Samhällsprogrammet and Naturvetenskapsprogrammet to prepare you for year 2 and 3.

In year 2
Depending on interests you will be able to choose either to have an Individuals and Societies profile or Natural Science profile. No matter which subjects you choose you will, after finished studies, have an education that is well recognized all over the world, with extensive knowledge in research and life long learning.
How to apply to Pre DP
There are two groups that are eligible to apply to Pre DP.
Group 1: Students with 9 years compulsory school from the Swedish School System.
To apply, students will need to have completed year 9 of compulsory schooling with Swedish grades from elementary school. The rules of admission that apply here are– Passing grade in mathematics, English and Swedish + passing in additional 9 subjects.
Group 2: Students that are planning to come to Sweden or has recently arrived in Sweden. Recently means within the last 2-3 years.
All the following must be fulfilled to be able to apply to Pre DP.
Recently arrived or are about to arrive in Sweden, recently means within the last 2-3 years.
The student has completed compulsory school equivalent to 9 years of Swedish compulsory school that should give the eligibility to enter a university preparational programme.
The student has a transcript, in English or Swedish, showing the grades and courses taken at the previous two years of school.
The student is at least 15 years old or will turn 15 during the fall term of the year the student begins in
The student passes an entrance test in English.
Applications to the DP1 year is handled by the school.
