Electrician, Industry

Application closed

The planned start on english is cancelled. Check Industrielektriker for the same education conducted in Swedish.

The electrician's work is to install and tune automatic systems, prevent faults, troubleshoot, perform service, repair and maintenance, and to contribute to the development of the industrial processes. The work is done with both low, and high voltage.

The electrician works is to repair electrical and electronic faults on the machines in an industry. Industrial manufacturing is often automated. If a fault occurs in the system, the electrician must quickly correct this to avoid production disruptions.

The tasks are mixed and even if there is a plan for service and repair of machines, the electrician's assignment is often controlled based on what is happening in the industry and the machines on an ongoing basis.

This training does NOT provide a basis for ECY certificates but can be supplemented with the missing courses and the apprenticeship that is mandatory for this certificate.

The education starts on the condition that the necessary decisions are made. We reserve the right to update the information on the website on an ongoing basis.

The development of the vocational education program has been made possible through the work efforts and time contributed by project staff within the Yrkesvux för metallindustrin och den gröna omställningen.

The project is funded by the Just Transition Fund 2021-2027
