If the book you need for your studies is not available in the Campus Library or Luleå University of Technology’s catalog, you can submit a purchase request or apply for an interlibrary loan.

Who can request interlibrary loans?

This service is available to students and researchers residing in the municipality of Skellefteå. If we determine that the book should be added to our collection, we will purchase it; otherwise, we will borrow it from another library (interlibrary loan).

Are you not a student or researcher, or do you live outside the municipality of Skellefteå? Please contact your nearest public library for assistance with interlibrary loans.

What happens next?

Purchase: If we purchase the book, delivery usually takes 2-3 weeks, sometimes longer.
Interlibrary loan: Delivery time varies depending on which library sends the book.
Notification: We will notify you via email as soon as the book is available for pickup at our library.
