Welcome!
The campus library is open to everyone and primarily serves as a resource for Skellefteå’s students and researchers.
We are open:
Måndag, onsdag, torsdag & fredag: 10-16
Tisdag: 10-19
Måndag-fredag: Självservice (öppet utan personal) 8-10
With an access card, you have access to the library during extended hours from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day.
Borrow from the library
To borrow items from the Campus Library, you need a library account. Please bring a valid form of ID (ID card, driver’s license, passport) to set up an account with us.
- The loan period is 14 days for course books and 28 days for other books.
- You can renew books up to 6 times if no one is waiting in line via My Library Account External link, opens in new window..
- If a book is checked out, you can put it on hold.
- The late fee for course books is 50 SEK, plus an additional 50 SEK if the book is not returned or renewed.

Order a book
Is there a book missing from the library? Please feel free to send us an interlibrary loan request or a purchase suggestion. All you need is a library account with us.
If we don’t have the item, we’ll do our best to get it, either by purchasing it or borrowing it from another library. We primarily purchase literature within our subject areas.

The campus library is an inspiring place with a view of the Skellefte River. We offer a relaxing environment for studying and collaboration. As a student, here you can:
- Use our study rooms for individual study and concentration.
- Work in groups in one of our many study rooms, perfect for projects and discussions.
- Take advantage of our open spaces, available to anyone looking for a quiet and open place to study or relax.
