Welcome to a day for you as a new resident. Skellefteå municipality and Welcome House invite you as a newcomer - and your family - to a day filled with community, warmth and new meetings!

Moving-in day is an appreciated tradition where we celebrate together those of you who have chosen to call Skellefteå your new home. Here you get the opportunity to meet other movers, find new friends, talk to local associations, companies and discover everything that Skellefteå has to offer.

We offer refreshments while stocks last!
Bring the family, come as you are - and let's discover Skellefteå together!

When and where?

Date: Sunday, May 25
Time: 11.00-16.00
Location: The Nordanå area - a green and beautiful place with culture, play areas and space for meetings. Nordanå is just a 10-minute walk from the city center.

Free entry - bring your ticket!

Move-in day is completely free, but you need to bring the invitation you received in your mailbox. It serves as your ticket in. Tickets have been sent out to those who have been registered in Skellefteå during the last 1.5 years. Have you not received a ticket? Contact us at inflyttare@skelleftea.se and we will help you.

You are welcome to come and go as you wish during the day
- the area is open between 11.00 and 16.00.

How to get to Nordanå

Walk or bike: It takes about 10 minutes to walk from Skellefteå center.
Accessible area: Nordanå is easy to reach on foot, by bike or stroller. Follow the signs on site.
