Society Expo 2026 is more than an event - it is an opportunity to explore, learn and create the sustainable societies of the future together. During the summer of 2026, Skellefteå will host this national event, bringing together businesses, organizations, researchers, schools and residents to discuss how we can change the way we live, work and collaborate.

For a few intense days, the city will be filled with exhibitions, meetings, experiences and conversations about the future. About how we live. About how we work. About how we look after each other - and the places we live together.

But Expo is not just about lectures and panels. We are now also looking for exciting events and activities that can help create a dynamic and inspiring atmosphere for visitors. We are looking for cultural events, entertainment, food experiences and much more! If you have something exciting to organize or contribute to during Expo, we would love to hear from you!

Here are some examples of the types of events we are looking for:

• Cultural and artistic expression: From music and theater to art exhibitions and interactive installations.
• Entertainment for all ages: From family-friendly activities to larger performances and happenings.
• Food and dining experiences: Local delicacies, sustainable food choices and food festivals that reflect the culinary heritage of Skellefteå and the region.
• Small, cozy elements: Food and drink that create a lovely atmosphere, such as food stalls, bars or "yummy" events that engage visitors in a tasteful way.
