Society Expo Exhibition is an interactive exhibition at Skellefteå Museum that explores the social transformation currently taking place in Skellefteå – and the questions about the future, sustainability, and change that come with it.

Through sound, light, projections, and interactive environments, visitors are invited to step into a story about energy. The exhibition unfolds in four parts:

• society’s energy
• the energy of the future

Here, you can follow stories about pioneers, innovations, and the people who have helped shape this place. From the hydropower in Finnfors and the visions behind the Sara kulturhus to the rapid societal transformation surrounding Northvolt and the questions about what comes next.

But the Society Expo Exhibition isn’t just about Skellefteå.
