Nordanå
Nordanå offers both a historical perspective and a vision for the future of sustainable societal development. Through exhibitions, guided tours, cultural events, and theater performances, visitors can experience the region’s cultural heritage and its role in shaping a sustainable future.

Skellefteå Airport
Skellefteå Airport plays a key role during SE26, serving as a point where global perspectives meet local development. More than just an airport, it becomes a gateway to the world and a driving force for the future of sustainable travel. The airport will showcase innovations and future transportation solutions, such as how Skellefteå is leading the development of electric aviation and next-generation air travel.

Kurjoviken, Skelleftehamn

Kurjoviken
Kurjoviken becomes a hub for partnerships and B2B activities focused on sustainable local and global impact. Through lectures, workshops, meetups, and exhibitions, Kurjoviken becomes a platform where sustainable industry, innovation, and growth take center stage. It also offers exhibition opportunities for SE26 partners to showcase sustainable solutions and innovations to an engaged audience of decision-makers, entrepreneurs, and investors.

Kurjoviken reflects Skellefteå’s journey from a regional player to a key point in the new industrial era of Sweden and Europe. Here, sustainability and innovation come together to address challenges like gender equality, skills development, and climate neutrality.

"We see the entire Kurjoviken as a place for meetings and opportunities. Our ideas have always stemmed from the needs here in the area, so that development happens together with the people who live and work here,"
says Ulf Marklund, an entrepreneur for 45 years and one of the driving forces behind Kurjoviken’s development.

"It’s about creating a place that is both pleasant and meaningful for the people here. We want to show what social sustainability can mean in everyday life," says Thomas “Linge” Lindgren, one of the visionaries behind the area.

During SE26, Kurjoviken also becomes a family-friendly destination with activities that promote well-being and social interaction for both locals and tourists. The activity area at Kolkajen and the lakeside artisan workshops will inspire future solutions.
