Åsa builds sustainable people and businesses

When Åsa Hägglund Larsson started Body Å Brain, the driving force was clear - to help both people and companies feel good in the long term. Today, she supports organizations in weaving together sustainability, profitability and business development into a whole.

For Åsa, it's about more than numbers and strategies. She is passionate about creating strong corporate cultures where collaboration and leadership work, where diversity and inclusion are a given, and where both managers and employees are given the right conditions to grow. The result is attractive workplaces, satisfied employees and companies that stand strong over time.

What key factors do you see as important for creating a sustainable organization?

There are many different factors that come into play. "It's about creating a strong corporate culture with cooperation and leadership that works, building attractiveness as an employer, working actively with everything from applying for business support, reviewing finances and the environment, to the work environment, diversity and inclusion, and providing managers and employees with good conditions with the aim of making both the company and the people in it feel better and perform sustainably over time," says Åsa.

Not forgetting about people?

No, exactly. It's a constant collaboration where both the company and the people grow if you maintain the common culture," says Åsa.

Åsa's commitment to sustainability is also evident in her course yard in Gärdsmark, where she has made use of and recycled materials in the old stables. She wants to create meeting places where people are given tools to grow. Both in working life and privately.

What are you looking forward to at Society Expo 2026?

- I am really excited to be part of Society Expo because I am passionate about creating a sustainable business and society which is needed in a responsible growing society. During these days, I want to highlight what I can contribute and what benefits there are in owning and working in a sustainable company. But also what it does for society around us," says Åsa.
