Prästbordet can grow with more townhouses in an urban location
There are now plans for 10-15 family homes in the Kaplanen block, with safe areas for children to play and be active.
The varied range of housing is an important part of a growing Skellefteå. The townhouses are planned on a plot located where Prästvägen meets Kaplansvägen, and will be placed so that children have a safe place to play outdoors. There is currently a preschool on the site, which closed in 2019.
The area has Lejonströmsskolan and is close to a playground and soccer fields. In the summer, there are leafy green areas at Rovön and in the winter there is a popular sledding hill to use in the area.
