Central housing is emerging
40 new rental apartments are being built in central Bureå. They will be completed by the end of 2023.
The apartments are being built in two former forest areas. One is bordering Hemvägen in the east and Bondevägen in the west. The other area is bordering Hemvägen in the west and Norra Kustvägen in the east.
There will be five two-storey houses with lofts built in wood, divided into one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. All apartments will have a balcony and access to a storage room. Outdoors, there will be green spaces with plants that benefit bees and pollination, as well as seating and grow boxes.
About 400 meters to the west, land is being prepared for residential plots.
