Degerbyn should be protected and developed
Degerbyn is a district with several types of buildings from different time periods. There are small houses and terraced houses from the 1960s and 1970s, older farms, industry and commerce. Medlefors Folk High School and Mobacken Church are two popular and well-visited places.
Klintforsån and Skellefteriver flow through here, with access to the promenade. The green is important to manage and develop, and we want to improve the area between the river walk and the buildings.
A new residential area is emerging, while protecting the hilly landscape with open fields. We also want the cycle paths to be extended westwards to Myckle in the long term.
