Jörn is developing
Jörn has a bit of everything and its strength is its proximity to large natural areas and a range of services needed in everyday life. A large growth is planned until 2040 with 600 new inhabitants and it will be noticeable in both the construction of housing and the development of infrastructure.
It should be easy and safe to get to, from and within the village of Jörn. With a growing population, the ambition is to build a village with more life and movement. There are many opportunities for experiencing nature and outdoor life all year round, and the connection to nature will be strengthened. Areas and trails for outdoor life in various forms will be protected, developed and preserved, such as hiking trails, walking trails, light trails and snowmobile trails. The school and parks will also be renovated.
