Urban housing with nature around the corner
180 rental apartments will be built in the Kandelabern block at Moröhöjden. There will be five buildings with 4-10 floors. Construction will start in the fall of 2024 with occupancy by the end of 2025.
The area is located north of Krongatan. The housing will be built on a former gravel parking lot and part of a forest area. The apartment buildings closest to the existing residential area will be 4-6 stories and the buildings closest to the forest will be up to 10 stories.
The natural area will be utilized and there will be a common patio for the residents. Weather-protected bicycle parking will be available directly adjacent to the homes. The car parks will be well-lit and located along Östra leden.

I Myckle finns det sammanlagt 36 hyresbostäder som inledande boende för Skellefteå kommuns egna anställda. Bostäderna stod klara våren 2025.
