Current opening hours are posted on the door of the reception and on our website.
There is a small shop inside our modern reception building where we offer a wide assortment of goods you may need during your stay here. During the summer freshly baked bread is available in the mornings and during the low season bread can be ordered in advance. You will also find newspapers, a good range of basic groceries, snacks, ice cream and soft drinks. We sell stamps, postcards, souvenires, laundry tokens, fishing permits and also a small range of caravan and tent accessories.
Refuel by grabbing a ’Swedish fika’ at our café! Enjoy a cup of coffee, a pastry or why not opt for a fresh smoothie? Choose between sitting inside in our bright and open café section or take a seat on our beautiful shaded terrace with a view over the campsite.
Camping Key Europe
Everyone staying with us must have a valid camping card which can be purchased at reception or online. The card offers a range of discounts and special offers in Sweden and Europe and even includes an accident insurance for the whole family. When should I pay?
- A registration fee of 20% of the total amount will be payed with card at the time of booking.
- Final payment will be made 30 days before arrival.
- If you book later then 30 days before arrival the full amount must be paid at the time of booking.
What if I do not pay on time?
If the final payment is not done 30 days before arrival your reservation will be cancelled. No confirmation will be sent to you. The registration fee will not be paid back.
Through purchasing a cancellation insurance for 250 SEK the registration fee and the final payment will be refunded if the following occur:
- Death, illness or a serious accident have occurred to you, your spouse/partner, you/your partners parents, children, siblings or co-travlers.
- Another serious incident occur that is beyond your control, which you could not have foreseen when you made your reservation, resulting in it being unreasonable to require that you should abide to your reservation e.g. compromising fire or flooding to your home.
- If you are summoned to the army or civil defense.
- If you due to unemployment or a new employment are unable to proceed with your reservation.
You will have to confirm your impediment by providing us with documents, for example a medical certificate, authority certificate or proof an insurance claim. The document shall be forwarded to us within 14 days from the reservation date. Only then the rental amount will be refunded. The cancellation insurance also gives your the right to cancel an ongoing stay and to recover the amounts corresponding to the part of the lenght of stay you have not been able to use if any of the above points occur.
What if I want to cancel?
If you cancel your reservation you will not be reimbursed for the service fee, the registration fee or final payment. However, if you have purchased a cancellation insurance you will be fully reimbursed, excluding the insurance fee and service fee, according to the special conditions that apply (see point above). No refund will be done if you choose to interrupt your stay earlier than planned.
By booking you allow us to send you newsletters by e-mail and you get the opportunity to participate in our guest survey via e-mail until you have unsubscribed to these.
For all reservations via telephone or email a service fee of 135 SEK will be charged. If you book online then no fee is charged.
First aid boxes
Available at reception and at the Servicepool.
You can exchange your ice packs at the Servicepool for a small charge.
We offer complimentary Wi-Fi. All you need is a computer, tablet or smart phone set up for Wi-Fi. Log on with your email address and name.
You are able to pay with SEK, NOK and Euro, however in terms of foreign currencies we only accept notes.
You are more than welcome to pay by debit and credit cards, both at the reception and at the Servicepool.
There is a yellow post box at the reception during the peak season. At other times you can leave your outgoing post at reception. Long-stay guests can have their newspapers sent on and collect them at reception.
