Development Strategy
The Skellefteå Campus is evolving in step with society’s need for knowledge, expertise, and innovation. The campus’s development strategy aims to strengthen its position as a dynamic hub for education, research, and collaboration—at the regional, national, and international levels.
The strategy is based on three key priorities:
Strengthening Education and the Supply of Skills
Campus Skellefteå will offer educational programs that meet the needs of the workforce and contribute to the region’s development. Through collaboration with several universities and close dialogue with the business community and the public sector, the educational offerings are continuously developed. Opportunities are available here for undergraduate education, continuing education, and lifelong learning.
Developing collaboration and innovation
An important part of the campus’s role is to serve as a place where academia, business, and society come together. Through collaborations, projects, and shared spaces, conditions are created for innovation, research, and knowledge development that strengthen both the region’s competitiveness and the global transition.
Create an attractive and vibrant campus environment
Campus Skellefteå shall be an inspiring environment for students, researchers, and partners. This encompasses physical environments, digital solutions, and social gathering places. An attractive campus environment helps attract students, talent, and investments to Skellefteå.
