Offerings from Educational Institutions

Our campus area, located a 5-minute walk from downtown Skellefteå, has most of what you need. Here you’ll find the Campus Hall for sports and leisure for students and staff, the Campus Restaurant & Café, and the Campus Library with course materials, group rooms, and student support. A Student Center for activities, services, and support for students and educational providers. IT support, bookable facilities for students, a Campus Chaplain, and TeXas Student Center for students with special needs. Student housing is also available here. Additionally, service hosts, facility cleaning, and property maintenance are on-site.

We offer two different package rental agreements for those conducting educational activities at Campus Skellefteå. One for those who want their own office and one for those who need a place to stop by in our touchdown area between sessions. Touchdown Package

As a tenant, you get access to a touchdown in a pleasant environment as well as access to the staff lounge. There are different levels of agreements for access to the staff lounge. See examples of benefits below.

We offer two different rental packages for those who run educational programs at Campus Skellefteå. One is for those who want their own office, and the other is for those who need a temporary workspace in our touchdown area from time to time. Touchdown Package: As a tenant, in addition to access to a shared workspace in a pleasant environment, you also get access to staff lunches. You gain access to Campus & Co’s offers and community.

Our responsibility: We offer all post-secondary education providers the opportunity to rent spaces at Campus Skellefteå, in close proximity to the campus library, study rooms, student housing, and student life. These include either bookable, temporary spaces for academic weeks or permanent spaces, subject to agreement and contract with Campus Fastigheter.
Your responsibility. For bookable group rooms and classrooms—contact the Student Center. For the best student service, contact the Student Center to discuss scheduling. Here, you’ll fill out the details, including start and end dates, number of students, and how the program is intended to be conducted—i.e., on-campus, hybrid, or distance learning. Your course information! When requesting facilities, read more and contact Campus Fastigheter. We also request a response to the follow-up survey that will be sent out during the year. When you move in, there may be some packaging and other items that need to be removed. You are responsible for handling this yourself.

Our responsibility: Campus Skellefteå promotes your programs in relevant contexts through our communications with target audiences (the campus website and initiatives in campaigns, trade shows, and social media). To support Campus Skellefteå’s Brand & Communication efforts , where we actively work to attract students to the programs offered at Campus Skellefteå through fair activities, recruitment campaigns, and communication with target groups via our established channels, including the website, social media, MyNewsdesk, and others. We also strengthen the brand through Skellefteå’s local communications and activities. There is also access to an international track where we take into account the need to learn more about the conditions in northern Sweden.
Your responsibility: Please send relevant information and details about both you as an education provider and your current educational offerings (logos, links, images, relevant information regarding start and end dates, course format, and relevant contact information clearly marked with you as the sender) well in advance to campus@skelleftea.se

Our Commitment: We provide student services designed to enhance your students’ well-being and create the conditions they need to succeed in their studies. We offer fantastic study spaces where everyone is welcome to find a spot for quiet individual study, group work, or simply hanging out. In addition, we provide a wide range of support services to help students with their studies.

You provide support in communicating with your students to ensure they are reached and, as much as possible, can take advantage of the opportunities and rights available to them.

Our offices are located on Campus Skellefteå, on Laboratorgränd, situated along the riverbank, a 5-minute walk from the city center. There is plenty of parking on campus for those driving, although construction work currently limits access somewhat. If you prefer public transportation, the local bus stops right next to the campus off the E4. The bus station is located in the city center at Södra Järnvägsgatan 29, serving both regional and local routes.

Classrooms & Dining

The Student Center offers pleasant facilities and open study environments where you can spend time doing your independent study or group work with classmates. The facilities are equipped with meeting technology so that you and your study group can participate in classes digitally.

Staff and contacts on site

Advisors and course coordinators are responsible for matters related to your studies and serve as partners to Campus Skellefteå. Offices and Touchdown spaces are located in Building E.

If you encounter any problems or have questions regarding the technical equipment in the classrooms (e.g., internet connection, projectors, cameras, and other hardware), personal assistance is available through the Helpdesk. You can also copy and print documents; please contact the Student Center for this.

Campus Skellefteå is also home to the Student Association, which provides a community for all students on campus studying at the university, college, or vocational school.

For questions regarding education and course content, please contact your program director or your own organization.

Our responsibility: We provide context and visibility for you as an education provider. We offer access to Campus & Co, a welcoming community where we collaborate, share information, and exchange experiences and creative ideas. A couple of times a year, we send out a newsletter and a survey where we ask about a number of metrics related to education. Here, you’ll find PULS for those eager to work out, and the library and other facilities are open to everyone—plus, the city center is just a short walk across the bridge.
Your responsibility: Ensure that your employees receive relevant information regarding Campus Skellefteå and make sure they are familiar with the area and its conditions so they can share this information with their students.

Our commitment: A housing guarantee for your students, with Skellefteå receiving a clean bill of health year after year from independent reviews. Currently, housing is primarily available on campus, just a 1-minute walk from classrooms, the library, restaurants and cafés, the gym, the Student Center, and the Student Pub. It takes just another five-minute walk across the beautiful river to reach the city center and all it has to offer. Your responsibility: To ensure that your students receive accurate information in a timely manner regarding how to apply. This should include relevant communication with the housing company Skebo regarding anticipated needs well in advance to ensure that those needs can be met.
