Parking
If you’re coming to campus by car, several parking options are available, each with its own conditions and rules.
The area offers street parking, larger parking lots with and without engine heaters, and a parking garage. You can park for a short time for a meeting or purchase long-term parking passes. The campus is within walking distance of downtown Skellefteå, so the Renen parking garage—located along the E4 with a green facade on the north side of the river—may be a good option for you.
Building in progress – parking during construction
Groundwork and construction will be taking place on campus for the foreseeable future. We ask for your patience and hope you’ll still feel welcome!
- We ask that you park in the gravel lots closest to Skråmträskvägen and the parking garage in the area. See the purple markings on the map below. There is also space available in the parking garage (along the D and E buildings, marked in purple).
- The area marked in red indicates the section that will be closed during the construction period.
- There are no charging stations on campus during the construction period.

Parking garage, Laboratorgränd, Campus
Open 6:00 AM–8:00 PM on weekdays. Closed on weekends. 84 spaces. Long-term parking passes for the Campus Parking Garage are sold via the Parkster app.

Renen Parking Garage
On the north side of the river is the Renen parking garage
Open 6:00 AM–9:00 PM and has 193 spaces.
It is about a 5–10-minute walk from there to the campus.

There is a space for people with disabilities at the Campus Library, Forumhuset.
Spaces for Skellefteå Municipality staff with engine block heaters, available for monthly rent at 355 SEK.

If you need to collect your car after the parking garage has closed
If you need access after closing hours, call the security company at 010 210 90 00 and provide your registration number. If a security call-out is required, a fee applies – currently SEK 1,200 – payable directly to them via Swish.
If you have a long-term parking subscription, you can collect an access card from Skellefteå Municipality’s customer service at City Hall (Stadshuset), Trädgårdsgatan 6 in central Skellefteå. This allows you to access and park in the garage even when it is closed.
