Facilities on Campus
Campus Skellefteå offers excellent facilities and a variety of options for meetings and training sessions in a creative environment. To make a reservation in the booking system, you must first register as a user; once you’ve done so, you’ll have access to the full menu and can submit your booking request. This applies to both students and others.
The technology is easy to use and offers just about everything you need. All rooms are fully equipped for a successful meeting. So don’t hesitate to book or send an inquiry to Linnea—see further down the page.
Group Rooms
Group study rooms are also available on campus for students to use. In Building E, these are now equipped with technology for digital meetings and streaming. You can book group rooms here.
In the Campus Library, you can enjoy the view and a lovely environment while studying together. There are also open spaces where you can gather on sofas and armchairs in the various buildings. Take a tour and find your favorite spot.
- The Forum Hall is a lecture and meeting hall equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The bright and airy space seats approximately 220 people and offers a stunning view of the river. With a foyer featuring a coat check and service desk, the Forum Hall provides all the support you need for a professional conference or lecture.
- With its amphitheater layout,the Arena provides a creative setting for lectures, group discussions, or perhaps a performance. The Arena has now been upgraded with new equipment, including a projector, sound system, and control system, and offers all the technical support you need. The venue has 50 fixed seats and space for 50 additional chairs.
- The Forum’s lobby is ideal for social gatherings or small exhibitions. The spaciousness and natural light, combined with the glulam structures, create an exclusive setting. Its location between the library and the restaurant building adds a lively atmosphere to any event.
- The studio can be used as a lecture hall or meeting room; it has been specially designed and equipped for modern video conferencing technology. Here, you can meet without having to travel! The space is also ideal for regular lectures or training sessions in a pleasant environment.
- Lecture halls, lecture rooms, and meeting roomsof various sizes, accommodating groups ranging from about ten to over thirty people. All are equipped with modern audiovisual technology and can be adapted for a variety of purposes.
- Computer labs of various sizes, equipped with modern technology and flexible seating arrangements, provide the ideal environment for effective computer training. - The Campus Gym for physical activity. Work out that stiff neck from sitting at a computer, or release those feel-good endorphins with badminton, soccer, floorball, or other activities. The Campus Gym can also be booked for public events. To do so, contact kundtjanst@skelleftea.se or call 0910-73 50 00. The messaging service and email are staffed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.
