The Skellefteå Campus serves as a test bed for smart energy systems and a center of excellence for the electrification of both industry and communities.

Through the Arctic Center of Energy, academia, industry, and civil society come together to drive development both nationally and internationally.

Test, demo, and lab

ACE Powerhouse – a physical center of excellence for education, research, and innovation in electrification and energy transition. ACE Powerhouse is not only a physical building with exciting activities but is also in itself a test bed.

The Pehr Högström Laboratory – Sweden’s first electrical environment laboratory, specializing in investigating electrical environments in buildings, i.e., how electrical systems, electric and magnetic fields, interference, and devices interact within a building environment.
