The City of Skellefteå, in collaboration with Skebo, continues to ensure a housing guarantee for students at Campus Skellefteå. There are several different options available, ranging from areas where students have lived for many years to newly built, permanent housing of a higher standard located close to the city center.

Skellefteå has a unique housing guarantee that applies to you if you have been admitted to at least an 18-week program at a university or vocational college located in Skellefteå. But don’t forget to register your residence in Skellefteå.

Students enrolled in degree programs at Campus Skellefteå are given priority, and then, subject to availability, students doing internships or clinical placements in Skellefteå are also offered housing.
Keep in mind that you can share housing to cut costs and, ideally, have twice as much fun.

Getting to and from Campus
Most student housing is within walking or biking distance of Campus Skellefteå and downtown. Otherwise, buses are available.
VFU in Skellefteå
If you choose to complete your clinical placement in Skellefteå, you will be eligible for Skellefteå’s student housing guarantee during those weeks, subject to availability. The housing guarantee is primarily intended for students enrolled in higher education programs at Campus Skellefteå; however, clinical placement students, along with doctoral students and adult education students in certain categories, will be given priority.
