Search services
Reserving books
Please note that books available in the Campus Library cannot be reserved. Here’s how you can access the materials you need:
- Search for the book: Use our search tool External link, opens in new window. to find the book you need.
- Check availability:
Available in Skellefteå: If the book is listed as "Available" in Campusbiblioteket Skellefteå, you can pick it up directly from the shelf and borrow it using our self loan machine during opening hours or Extended Accss if you have an access card.
Checked out or available in Luleå or Piteå: If the book is check out or only available in Luleå or Piteå, you can reserve it by clicking on "Borrow/reserve" and logging in. You will receive an email notification with more information when the book becomes available. - Need help?: If you encounter any problems with reservations, please contact us at skelleftealibrary@ltu.se or call 0910-585345. Ordering articles
You can request copies of articles not available in full text electronically. Simply email the article reference to skelleftealibrary@ltu.se. Please note that you need a library account to order articles.
For more details, refer to our price list.
If you need books for studies, research, or teaching that are not in the Campus Library's catalog, or at another library in the municipality, you can order them through interlibrary loans from LIBRIS, Sweden's joint database of university libraries.
Important information:
- Books checked out: If books are checked out, you can still reserve them.
- Electronic material: Electronic materials such as eBooks are not available for interlibrary loan. Please contact the staff for more information.
Eligibility:
The interlibrary loan service is available to students, researchers, and teachers at universities and colleges in Sweden. You can order up to 5 simultaneous interlibrary loans per person for studies, research, and teaching purposes. To use this service, you must have a library account at the Campus Library.
