The Campus Library is open to everyone, and our primary target audience is students and researchers in Skellefteå.

We are open with staff Monday to Friday, but you can also visit the library at other times, through Extended Access, if you have applied for and received an access card.

  • Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri: 10am - 4pm
  • Tues: 10am - 7pm
  • Mon-Fri: Self-service (without staff) 8am - 10am

  • November 27: Self service only (8am to 3pm)

If you choose to return books to us by post, you are responsible for the loan until the book has arrived at the library and the loan has been deregistered

For those with an access card, you can use the library on all closed days from 6am to 10pm. Extended access means that the library is locked and staff are not available.

Borrowing from the library

To borrow from the Campus Library, you need to have a library account. Bring a valid ID document (ID card, driving license, passport) to get an account with us.

  • The loan period is 14 days for course books and 28 days for other books.
  • You can extend the loan period up to 6 times if there is no queue via My Library Account External link, opens in new window..
  • If a book is checked out, you can put a hold on it.
  • The overdue fee for course books is 50 SEK and an additional 50 SEK if the book is not returned or renewed.
