Change of ownership, relocation and moving in
When you sell or transfer your property, you must remember to notify us of the change of ownership so that we can issue a transfer invoice and so that the new owner continues to receive the invoice. Report a change of ownership via the e-service.
Water supply
If you sell or transfer your property, you as a property owner must report this via the e-service above. The water meter must be read on the day of transfer and the meter reading must be noted in the e-service. The case must then be signed by all new owners before it can be sent to the municipality.
Until we receive the information about the change of ownership, you remain the property owner in our system, which means that the invoices for the subscriptions will be sent to you. When the change of ownership comes to us, we transfer the subscription to the new property owner(s) and all costs up to the date of access are adjusted on a transfer invoice.
You can follow your case and see who has signed it via the My Pages External link. function.
To be able to use the e-service, you as a seller and everyone listed as a buyer must have a Swedish personal identity number and e-identification (e.g. BankID). If you cannot use the e-service, you can contact the municipality's customer service. Call 0910-73 50 00, button selection 3, or email: kundtjanst@skelleftea.se.
We do not automatically know that you have sold the house. You need to submit that information to us. Fill in the e-service at the top of this page. You as a seller and all buyers need a bank ID to be able to sign the case. Please note that the case will not be submitted to the municipality until everyone has signed it.
NOTE! If you have municipal water supply, do not forget to read the water meter on the day you take possession and to fill in the information in the e-service.
Until we receive the change of ownership, you remain the property owner in our system, which means that the invoices for the subscriptions will be sent to you. When we receive the change of ownership, we will transfer the subscription to the new property owner and all costs up to the transfer date will be adjusted on a transfer invoice. The new invoices will then continue to be sent to the new property owner.
We do not automatically know that you have bought a house, but we need to receive a notification of change of ownership. Fill in the e-service for change of ownership together with the current property owner. When the case is signed, it will be sent to us. We will then transfer the subscription and the invoice will continue to be sent to you.
It is always the property owner who is our customer. In your case, the housing association. Contact the board of your housing association. They are the ones who must report the change of ownership. They should not use the e-service but contact customer service directly by email or phone.
If a house or apartment is rented out, no notification of change of ownership is required.
The invoice for water and sewage is sent to the property owner.
If you are reporting a change of ownership of a property you do not own, you must attach a power of attorney. If the property is owned by an estate, the information on the estate's inventory about the owner(s) of the estate can be used as a power of attorney.
Waste
- If the new owner does not actively choose a different type of subscription for their waste (waste collection), the same type of subscription as the previous owner will apply after the change of ownership.
- If the new owner wants to choose a new type of subscription for their waste, they should contact customer service.
- Changes in subscriptions may be made free of charge once (1) per 12 months. In addition, an administrative fee is charged according to the established tariff.
