Fritidsbanken

At Fritidsbanken, you can borrow equipment for sports, exercise, physical activity, circus and outdoor recreation. For example: tents, skis, ice skates, sleeping mats, and sledges.

Kulturbanken

At Kulturbanken, you’ll find items and equipment for creativity, crafts and other forms of cultural expression. For example: musical instruments, music stands, masks, wigs and props for live action roleplay or theatre, board games, beads and pegboards, craft tools, easels, brushes, palettes, and reference books on art, film, dance or other sources of creative inspiration.

The selection varies

Please note that the available items may vary depending on what has been borrowed or donated recently

Everything you can borrow from Fritidsbanken and Kulturbanken is donated by individuals, organizations or companies. We are involved in reuse and do not buy any equipment ourselves.

You can leave stuff to both Fritidsbanken and Kulturbanken at Rondellen secondhand and at any recycling center in Skellefteå municipality. Leave in the designated place for reuse and we will make sure it ends up right.

Right now it is also possible to leave stuff in the bathhouse Eddahallen's entrance and in the City Hall Brinken.

Unfortunately, at present we do not have the opportunity to pick up gadgets and equipment that someone wants to donate.

What happens if what I borrow breaks?

If something is broken, we will try to repair it. If this is not possible, we will pass it on for recycling after picking any spare parts that can be reused.
