The Library Bus
The Library Bus is a complement to the libraries in Skellefteå municipality and the target groups for the activity are children aged 0-12 years and educators. Even you who are at home with children or want to borrow for your grandchildren are welcome to borrow children's and youth literature on the Library Bus.
At the Library Bus you can borrow fiction, non-fiction, comic books and magazines for children and young people, as well as educational literature.
The aim is to offer seven visits at our preschools and schools during an academic year. The visit interval is normally five weeks, but can be longer due to e.g. holidays, public holidays and professional development days.
Our media are lent out in six weeks. A reminder is sent two weeks after the return date. If someone has reserved the book, a reminder is sent after one week.
The books borrowed from the Library Bus can be returned at the next visit, at the City Library or at one of the municipality's local libraries.

If a tour is cancelled, this will be notified to the preschools and schools concerned.
