Falkträskbadet
Falkträskbadet is located a few kilometers southwest of central Skellefteå and offers a large grassy area and a smaller sandy beach.
Here you can swim in a lake. There are two jetties, one of which is accessible for wheelchairs and people with impaired vision. There are changing rooms, toilets, a playground, a barbecue ring with a windbreak, tables and benches, and a kiosk during the summer.

At the bathing area in Falkträsket, there is a bathing jetty that is accessible for wheelchairs and people with impaired vision.
The bathing jetty is a stable floating jetty with a sturdy railing to hold on the left side.
There is:
- One accessible water toilet and four water toilets adjacent to the parking lot. The toilets are kept open during the bathing season.
- A barbecue ring in the area that is raised so that people in wheelchairs can sit around the barbecue ring.
- Kiosk service during the summer vacation.
Parking is available directly adjacent to the bathing area and the associated road. It is only permitted to park in designated parking lots. You are not allowed to park along the road by the bath. This is because the emergency services must be able to arrive quickly in the event of an accident.

The nearest bus stop is on Lantmannagatan, southern Sunnanå, which is located after line 3. From the bus stop to the bath is about 1.5 km.
How to get here
Falkträsket is located a few kilometers southwest of central Skellefteå in the Falkträsket district. If you come from Skellefteå, you take off from Skråmträskvägen or Lantmannagatan to the south on Falkträskvägen. The bathing area is visible from the road.
The bathing area is very popular during the hot days of summer when the whole area can be full of bathing people so bicycles are preferable to cars as parking spaces are limited.
